Mortality

photoSitting in front of my very modern computer enjoying a century-old glass of half-a-century old wine, I reflect on time, and what it means.

Am I immortal?

Who is the identity that I refer to as “I”?

What is being experienced right now, and who is the one doing the experiencing?

The answers to these questions are contained in the mystery of Enlightenment.

Only someone not awake, who ignores the passing of time and tries to fight it will find any reason to avoid the topic.

I am 36 but am often mistaken for being much younger, people will guess I am anywhere from 18 to 25.

Taking magickal steps to preserve youthful energy, and to delay the inevitable destruction of the outer shell that is my body, helps in this way, of course the most useful step is to keep a young set of thoughts, that playfulness of absolute youth, but with the sophistication of a 17th century aristocrat, is the ideal approach.

I think the art of conquering your own mortality is to live life as though you are going to die next week, but also as if you were immortal.

In a way, if you play your cards right, you will be.

Your body is a shell that may die, your soul can survive. If you want it to. You decide.

If you take your fill of love and lust, live this only life to the fullness of your being here and now in the physical, that is one way to go.

But I tell you, the art of transcending the ultimate barrier has a price-tag which comes with pain, pain and more pain. And sacrifice.

Maybe that is why most people are ignorant and deluded (they don’t want to know the truth)

and why many, many occultists and Satanists, are just into Hedonism, they want to live only once. (they don’t want to experience the truth they already know).

The Way to Hel (the world of the dead)

Today’s Music inspiration – is… From my old Viking inheritance, the people without fear come heaven or Hell.

‘Hel’, in Norse mythology, originally the name of the world of the dead; it later came to mean the goddess of death. Hel was one of the children of the trickster god Loki, and her kingdom was said to lie downward and northward. It was called Niflheim, or the World of Darkness, and appears to have been divided into several sections, one of which was Náströnd, the shore of corpses. There stood a castle facing north; it was filled with the venom of serpents, in which murderers, adulterers, and perjurers suffered torment, while the dragon Nidhogg sucked the blood from their bodies. Mention is made in an early poem of the nine worlds of Niflheim. It was said that those who fell in battle did not go to Hel but to the god Odin, in Valhalla, the hall of the slain.

‘Gjöll’ is one of the eleven rivers of ‘Hel’, in Norse mythology, Gjöll is the river that flows closest to the gate of underworld and it’s spanned by a bridge (Gjallarbrú), which must be crossed in order to reach ‘Hel’. According to Gylfaginning. It is described as a covered bridge, “thatched with glittering gold”, which was crossed by ‘Hermód’ during his quest to retrieve ‘Baldr’ from the land of the dead. The river is said to be freezing cold and have knives flowing through it.

Hermód was sent to retrieve the fallen god from the land of the dead. When ‘Hermód’ arrived at the bridge he was challenged by the giant maiden Módgud who demanded that he state his name and business before allowing him to pass.

 

Lucifer Invocation

Due to high amount of incoming searches for “Lucifer Invocation” I decided to make a more complete ritual than the old one. It is not complete but designed to be used as a template, and adapted to each person’s desired occult system, since the tools and methods for occult work does vary, I don’t want to tell you how to do magick, you must find that one out by yourself, but here is a good starting point to invoke and commune with Lucifer as a (fallen) angel entity.

Preaparation

– ritual bath.

– dress nude or in a black robe or white robe to your liking.

The altar should be covered in black or white to your liking.

On altar:

– Red rose.

– Incense: Red Sandal incense.

– Light: Black or White candle to your liking.

– Emeralt stone or other stone/mineral of the earth.

– Cup of Red Wine (or grape juice)

– Chalice of Salt Water.

THE RITUAL

1. Banish the room according to your magickal system of liking.

2. Starting in East, purify the 4 cardinal directions with Water. Then, purify the Altar.

3. Starting in East, purify the 4 cardinal directions with Fire. Then, purify the Altar.

( Spirits of earth, wind, fire and water should now be present and in balance. )

4. Invoke the planet Venus according to your magickal system of liking.

5. Visualize Lucifer, the perfect Angel, of perfect wisdom, as male or female, or a mix of male or female. Visualize Lucifer in the color of Emergald green and Bright yellow, and olive flecked Gold. Use the sigil according to your occult knowledge to invoke the spirit of Lucifer.

6. Say the following Prayer:

I am not one of them

I don’t believe in what they do

I know I am one of you

Lucifer the fallen angel, come to me.

Lucifer, heal the pain inside my heart

Lucifer, heal my broken heart

Lucifer, I close my eyes and see your goodness and the Truth

Lucifer you are  here

7. Read the following

And the Fallen Angel came, and spoke: “May Tiamat guide you and keep you. May Leviathan guard you and yours. Listen to Tiamats children, they will help you in sorrow. Listen to the children of Leviathan, they will help you in pain. No worries of man, no nightmares pain. Humans do not know, what they think of us.”

8. Kneel down, Say your personal prayer to Lucifer.

9. Show humility to your highest manifestation that is Lucifer. Keep your thoughts as a prayer and mantra and take it with you. Cry for him, that has fallen for You.

10. Thank Lucifer silently in your thoughts and know that Lucifer loves you, cries for you.

11. Banish the room according to your magickal system of liking.

12. Say: HAIL LUCIFER! HAIL TIAMAT! HAIL LEVIATHAN!

13. Extinguish altar light, exit temple.

(THE RITUAL IS AT AN END. )

*) NOTE: “your magickal system of liking” is whatever magickal system you use in your daily rituals. This could be GD-style, Voodo, Wicca, Bhuddist, tantric or any other system, entirely up to you.

Light-Yagami-death-note-2497713-1024-768This article will focus on how I live my life, as a Luciferian. It is an update and summary of past articles, with some new insights I like to share with everyone.

First, is not a very common lifestyle to associate yourself as a Luciferian. So I find myself alone in a way, yet I know many Luciferians online, and I have given the unofficial title to people who for all practical purposes demonstrate what I hold as the key qualities of a Luciferian, but they do not realise they are among us. Second, although I am among the few, I find my kin have taken other titles, and are not Luciferians but practise other occult arts or belong to other esoteric groups. Finally I have been able to open up to my other occult friends and discuss the topic of Luciferianism. There are definitly safe ways and enjoyable ways to be open to people who have the ability to understand, and not just muggles who would simply not understand anything at all.

Travel

You should travel to open your senses to different cultures but also to let loose the culture in you that you grew up in, it makes you understand that you are not your culture, you are different. I have friends in many parts of the world, and I go there not as a tourist but as a friend who live in their houses, and share local customs.

Work

You are not your work, but you will spend a lot of time there.  Work with something that you can express your ideals and aspirations through. Myself I work as an architect of large computer systems, I design the future? Big responsibility. But one that I can express Luciferian principles through as I am both leader and engineer, visionary and a creator (The creator God of my own universe).

Distractions

At any given time, in your Human body, you will be distracted by the inferiour brain’s earth-level thought patterns. Sleep, food, sex and social and mundane relations carry your attention away faster than you can say Fuck. The way I avoid DISTRACTION when I need to focus is: do just one thing at a time. I track my work on computer using just a simple text editor. That way, even though people SMS me, call me, text me, skype me and Facebook me and digitally rape me any way you can think of, I can still focus on what I am doing and why. Plus when my mind start to wander, I can just look at my notes. Plus I can learn more about what I do when and how. Here is a transcript of my notes:

The time is 16:00
I listen to cambodian romvong music. 
I start to focus on my next task.

- Prepare tomorrows presentation. 
- Finished preparing powerpoint presentation.

I listen to trance music.

- I should put my bills and mail which I did not yet process into the new binder. 
-- All my paid bills are sorted into new binder. 
-- Bonus: Outbox and Inbox now ready. 
AP: Collect tasks from black workbook and big black folder. 
The time is 18:58
I listen to finnish pop music.
I start to focus on my next task. 
What is my next task?
- Order stock items.

And so on. AP means Action points. Meaning actionable stuff that needs to be tracked in my GTD system (Toodledo). Other than that the work method is straight-forward, I just copy+paste the text that gives me the queue to think “What is my next task?” and then do them. Note that I use the GTD system which helps me pull a priority task, so I always know what to do, I just use this system to stay focused on what I am doing and why, and also a bit when I am working. I note the time and also what music I listen to, for no particular reason, other than help me focus more on work and reduce distraction, pay more attention to the here and now.

Sleep

For you to spend 1/3rd of your time in bed, sleep is important. Buy a real bed. With a real mattress. I have so many problems sleeping since I am a night-person, not a day-person. I have no real clue as to how normal people sleep, I can do fine with only 6 hours.

Food

I like expensive and gourmet food. Also I like to prepare food. For example Sushi, using my own Japanese knife, which was handmade in Japan and has my name engraved in the steel.

Sex

I usually only have sex with my same gender, which are other males, because I like the male body, I find it more aesthetically pleasing, prefer them athletic like ancient greek ideals for youth. Women can sometimes draw my attention if they are really self-confident, have unusual interests or have other talents or things that I like. Usually I get laid 3-4 times a week but sometimes I cannot have time for this (hard work). I tend to find new partners from time to time and then keep a set of regular partners for each kind of use.. since people are different, but I like many things depending on my mood.

Social distractions

I like to just hang out at parties, usually I will attract attention, then I will take it, but I like more to be a spectator, and enjoy myself, maybe find that one special soul that needs to be corrupted. Enjoy fine wine and foods. But most mundane social events bore me. Kick-offs, business dinners, seminars … haha… usually I will sleep, have sex or do something else.

Mundane distractions

TV is dangerous for your brain, throw it out. Get books. Old ones, from the 16th century.

The Great Work

Do not let things get in your way to do the Great Work. So hard with all distractions to do rituals, meditation and occult studies isn’t it? Well, it doesn’t need to be. I found that while arranging a room in your house as a temple, and using robes and regalia is nice, you live in a busy world, so even today I sometimes bring rituals to work and do them in an office I can lock in the basement, if I have 45 minutes available I will take it. Plus I can short down on the commute if I stay a while longer.

Open new senses

Travel, try new wines, try new sex partners, talk to people, be social, forget about facebook, turn off the TV, do not rely on your cell phone to remember your phone numbers. Do new stuff and never say NO when people invite you.

Keep flowing

Be as tired as you can but be appreciative that things are happening in your life.

Economy

If you are a poor bum, go get the book “The Secret”. I was bankrupt once in my life but this book saved me. I know it is simple and muggles-friendly but it WORKS. Now I make a million every year. (In Kroner = 120 000 Euro). If you are everything but a bum, start getting an accounting program (at the least) for your Mac (Quicken) or PC (GNUCash). Or go get a real accountant to track your economy. You should make budgets for everything and keep to them. Invest wisely. Even a small income needs accounting and budgeting systems to maximise your resources. Remember: the universe doesn’t like waste! Don’t waste what you have or you lose it.

Practicality

Your house should have the tools and machines to assist you in the daily work of maintenance. I have the usual stuff (coffee machine, vacuum cleaner and a houndred things) but I also have a drill, toolbox, complex set of screwdrivers, nut openers, and so on, so I can do most repairs on my house, car, and even help other people fix their things. I have a repair manual for my car. I know everything where it is and everything has its own place. I prevent clutter by throwing everything that doesn’t fit anywhere or anything that I already have too much of.

Defence

Alarm systems, redundant sensors, anti-break-in and fire detection systems are included in my house as well as CCTV camera with recording. Both hidden and visible camera cover all the perimeter. The alarm system is hooked up to police and private security guard company. Should I need to defend myself personally, I have a knife near my bed for short-range combat, machete for less personal defense. Strategic weapons in case things really get messy are: Military (Norwegian issue) steel helmet, bulletproof Kevlar vest (German issue) , pistol for short-range and sighted rifle for long-range situations.

Preparedness

I have a bug-out bag with most things I need to survive a natural disaster or breakdown of society for atleast a week without supplies.

Relaxation

Whenever I need, I go for a one hour walk, sometimes at night.
If I need more relaxations, I go for a vacation somewhere.

Someone wrote asking me to write about any techniques I found particularly helpful when I began my journey, and how meditation should be, and how to cope with drifting into mundane thoughts, and if I have any reading list on the topic for that. Well, to answer that, I’ve written this article and divided it into subparts.

When I started my journey

In my childhood I knew I was not like other kids. I cannot really put my finger on it but I knew I had a very adult way of thinking right from start. Plus my mother tells me I was walking long before being 1 year, and talking around 1 year, and by the time of four I could read and write my native language, and by the time of seven I knew english. But there were other clues to me being different. During my kindergarten years at age 5, I would actually be the one controlling what games the whole kindergarten played, and I modified the game where boys and girls would avoid eachother and play a form of “tag”, into becoming more of an orgy of cuddling. It had the adults very confused since the norm is for boys and girls that age to avoid eachother, and even boys among themselves would play more violent games but I made it into more like a peace and love thing. I was very sensual and aware of energies and already at that time I could notice certain things, and notice who had this “gift” of being able to control their surroundings. I learned that as myself, among 100 children, only 2 or 3 children have special gifts. Later I found the term Indigo that fits well.

Growing up I had many experiences and I was very attracted to any occult topic. but it wasn’t until my adulthood I found good meditation and calm through practising and reading about Zen. The techniques and teachings of Zen bhuddism kept me happy for a few years, until I needed more powerful techniques to working more actively.

After working more actively with magick, I realized how important meditation is, to calm and experience the mystery.

How meditation should be

Meditation is passive and receptive, as opposed to magick which is active and giving. The purpose according to many ‘new age’ ideas is for meditation to achieve calm, balance yourself or to experience a moment of bliss. That is, of course, not true.

While meditation can definitly sort out your thoughts and calm your body and thus be a great tool only done half-way, doing western-style yoga or meditation just to calm the physical body is like driving a porche around a small garage. It’s a pretty cool tool, but you’re not really using it the way it should be.

Meditation when done properly, will disconnect you from your personal reality and make you see the world as it is. This is precisely the meaning of the Zen idea of no-mind. It is also the realisation of the moment when you lose yourself and something else begins, some people call this moment for true enlightenment. Its the moment when you not only connect with God, you are God.

That is the only purpose in meditation, to realize this mystical union, according to some purists I know. I won’t be so harsh, but I wish to say it nevertheless. Also to explain that the same is true for the original purpose of the Christian Midnight Mass, (Eucharist) and many other things. There are other, safe or less safe methods of acheiving the same, hence the emergence of sex-magick orders and so on:

(Some) Ways to reach “enlightenment” i.e. the connection with the “all”

  • Meditation
  • Sexual orgasm
  • Tantric sex to exhaustion
  • Astral travel
  • Religious RItuals
  • Drugs
  • Magick
  • etc

There are countless other ways that are safe or not so safe, but meditation is usually one of the safest ways, and for being so safe, nevertheless also effective.

The method of meditation vary and you can find many guides on the net.

The Zen books I typically read before would typically say something like: “To meditate, all you need to do is sit. You can begin to meditate by counting your breaths, breathing slowly and controlling your breath. Let your back be straight and your head as it is holding up the heavens. Sit with your legs crossed, or if you can, in the Lotus position. If you can’t, find any position that you are comfortable with, and just let everything go. For that moment, do not let anything disturb you. Any thought you get in your mind? Let it go. Do not strain yourself to not think. Just let the thought come but let it go again. Be a passive observer observing thoughts come and go. Soon you are not observing or not observing, and you can achieve the state of no-mind, of not-thinking”.

Coping with drifting thoughts

In magick, you would throw magickal letters when you do skrying.

But in meditation you just let any distraction or thought pass. Just. Let. Go.

But why meditate?

Only you can know the true answer to that. Try it. It will only cost you about 15 minutes.

No meditation should last more than 15 minutes in my opinion, UNLESS you are doing ZaZen, a variation of Zen practise which of course require a LONG period of just sitting. (A weekend?)

Ryan Murray has a really good video on Youtube discussing the Liber 777, and the need for a common language between occultists. And the need to communicate with eachother.

Because when you see a sign, symbol, sound, smell in a spiritual setting, you can use the Liber 777 and the model of the kabbalistic and magickal correspondances as a tool to communicate these associations, not only to other people but yourself too. When doing rituals you need to keep these associations.

The more work you do, the more associations you need to control.

The benefit: you can actually take control on how you think how we feel and our psychological state by manipulating objects in our environment.

“It’s gruntwork – and it PAYS OFF if you actually do it”.

Work time and free time. The illusion of separation between them.

wizardToday, the mundane society in which we Luciferians find ourselves in, expects you to separate work and leisure, into manageable chunks of time subject to control by structures. Ideally, time creates barriers between them, consider the 08-16 times of work, and the 16-08 times of leisure. Yet the same society that constructed this artificial separation, also expects people to move more work responsibilities to their leisure time, and mix work into ordinary lives as a one-way experience.

The problem so many people have today in focusing on work (and by work I mean work in  the broadest sense – work to complete both professional and personal goals) – is to keep focus long enough to permit any work actually being done.

How many times must we pretend that there is really no difference to the brain if we are in one or another mode? Our minds naturally wander in and out of work. Of course, workhours exist to define a place to be available to society, except in those rare cases your job is also your hobby or where you practise arts that intertwine with your schedule (as opposed to anyone else’s).

Solution. Be creative, means do not allow things to pile up on you. Also realize that your brain needs to work on whatever is fun to you at the moment. Make stuff that you need to do fun, by reducing all the stuff you don’t need to do. I spoke about methods and processes before that help you reduce clutter and manage your time better.

But we should not let work just be work and leisure be just leisure, either. We should allow ourselves to work when we need to. Even at a party, we could have a great idea, note it down. At work we could have another great idea, note it down. But above all, whether you are working or not, it is important to remain social and share experience with others. And allow yourself to experience the kind of flow you can achieve if you let go of your structure and way of separating time into either-or.

Ideally, work is also leisure, when you create a good flow. Your free time is also time to work, if you allow creativity and inspiration to move even your professional goals.

You have no work time or free time, you just have time. The truth is that you exist in all times past present and future, your work is to keep creating and maintain the flow that you direct under Will. 

Back after vacation

IMG_1120I have had a wonderful regenerative vacation.

NORTH NORWAY

My first half was spent in the north of Norway, across the polar circle, where this time of year the Sun does not set, but stays up all 24 hours of day. I was able to appreciate spending time with my fathers side of my family, and to connect with the nature spirits of the mountains, the sea, and the green nature. I recharged my earthly batteries here, and even found time to learn about rare plants and folk medicine which my family knows.

My second part was spent in Holland, where I spent time with occult friends. One of the highlights was to enter a secret cocktail bar in the middle of Amsterdam, which you have to know about to find it, it has no sign on the outside, just a black painted board with nothing. Inside are beautiful chandeliers and antique leather furniture, and the owner is not a bartender but a mixologist, one who can truly master the art of mixing drinks, to such a level that if you can drink a picasso it would still fall short of it. There were also time to do rituals in the middle of a park, right in front of muggles, disguised as some form of yoga..
