A reader asks, in relation to the post Coping with being different, if the difference I feel talking to other occultists is a result of Luciferianism. I replied that it is more due to the fact that many occultists I meet online are dogmatic. I want to elaborate on that. Of course, not all occultists I meet online are dogmatic. And most of the occultists I know in real life and who are my friends, although they belong to different traditions are not dogmatic against me, but they do not understand much about Luciferianism, maybe because Luciferians are not [supposed to] be dogmatic. I mean, someone who is Luciferian should be open and curious, and not cling to ideas like religion, like some people do. Even many persons I consider very enlightened, will be familiar to a dozen different esoteric systems, and they do not cling to any of them, but tend to be puzzled when confronted with something outside very known, familiar set of “rules”.

I know there are some authors (who shall remain un-mentioned) who tried to define Luciferianism but in my honest opinion failed at doing so (the less quoted the less famous).

The question arises then, among Occultists, whether Luciferianism is a legitimate path to discuss from the perspective of another occultist, since it is so similar to Chaos Magick in that there is no single authority over what defines Luciferianism?

In the foreground to the right, some Whiskey, properly imported across the border by my friend from Spain. He is only 23, well traveled all over the world, he is very smart, and has been to most countries. Most of his Spanish friends think he is a secret agent since he travels a lot, especially to unusual places like Khazakstan or.. Oslo. His passport is full of stamps from just about every country on earth. And he has many passports with different names. And different kind of money. Hm, come to think of it, Maybe he is a secret agent after all. Like all my friends, he is initiated into the secrets of many arts, I seem to attract talented people. Just as well, since I find special people with extraordinary skills, intelligence and talent the most interesting people to be with. I like this kid a lot, he sort of embodies the vitality and passion of Spain, while at the same time speaks Catalan and fights for an independant Catalunya. And he is not a typical Spanish, being learned in many different cultures and languages. He is not Luciferian as he would define himself of no particular “religion” or creed, however, he would meet all the criteria. Even the ability for extra senses or even clairvoyance.

To the lower left, a copy of the book “Prometheus Rising”, a book I had to pick out of my  library for the purpose of following up someone who has read some of his books. Amazingly, this book has real relevance to the Luciferian idea, and it can jumpstart sort of the basic knowledge a newcomer to Luciferian would want to have, or maybe should have, before embarking on the Luciferian idea, or any idea for that matter.

In the background, the TV show “Hannibal”, I rarely watch TV, but this was on, and I think it is interesting to note that the main character Graham is one lone wolf with some serious personality side-effects, that he participates as help during crime investigations, using near supernatural senses to solve crimes. As wikipedia describes him:

“This version of Graham identifies himself as being on the autism spectrum, but showrunner Bryan Fuller has refuted the idea that he has Asperger’s Syndrome, stating instead that he has ‘the opposite of’  it. He possesses ‘pure empathy’ and an overactive imagination, allowing him to mentally recreate the murders he is investigating”.

Next time you look at a picture you might imagine there will be endless stories from it.

If I was to cut the fibre cable on this telephone pole, you would think a whole city would be disconnected from the internet?

I sort of enjoyed the sun today, sitting in the garden re-thinking all of last weeks trifles. Birds singing, butterflies with white wings flashing past me, and a big bumblebee landed near my naked feet, folded its wings and sort of telepathically said: “Phew, summer sure came fast, it was winter only a week ago. And where am I to build a nest? The flowers are already blooming!”

Birds of various colours and races were busy chirping and flying hectically in criss-cross paths and constantly rearranging their territories. The neighbours dog, hopelessly bred away from wolven instincts, stupidly barks.

The neighbours themselves, even more inbred, are even more out of tune with nature and seem to disturb the perfect moment.

Unable to focus at any of this with my Nikon 7100 camera with a 400mm lens, I could only get one sharp image for today, the one of a telephone pole with cables on it. The rest of the images were out of focus. Oh, well, it shall serve as todays photo, to meditate upon thus: What god has planted this tree?
