I rarely come across a poem with a sophistication and deep symbolism that I can meditate on it again and again. This is a masterpiece, and the link below is as far as I know the only reference on the internet to the poem itself, both its performance and its text. Every verse is an initiation.
Not for the faint of heart, the poem is a dark theme with many possible symbolic interpretations on religion, blood, suffering, faith, lack of faith.
I invite you to listen through this excellent rendition of “The Black Key”.
